Welcome to Linda Elementary

Linda School - "Committed to Excel in Academics and Respect"
Home of the Lions since 1855

On Friday, March 1,2 019 Linda School celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by a day long reading extravaganza!  Classes read Dr. Seuss stories, made hats and even  had Green Eggs and Ham.  Our first through sixth grade students participated in our Lion Quest all day.  A day to see how many AR quizzes we can take in just one take.  The library was a busy, busy place all morning long.  After it was all through, at the end of the day, we surpassed our record last year of taking 3,059 tests.  Our total on Friday only was 3,363!!!  Great job to everyone!
There is no school on Monday, March 11th for students.  It is a teacher work day.
Don't forget to turn your clocks ahead on Sunday for Daylight Savings Time.
Our Second Trimester Rallies will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019.  It is a Dinosaur Theme, "Our Scores are GIGANTICSAURUS".  Our 1-3rd grade is at 8:55 and our 4-5th grade at 9:55.  We hope you can come and join in on the excitement.
Please watch for the Lion's Roar to come home each week with your child.  This newsletter has important information and upcoming events to be held at Linda School.
